We are offically homeowners! We closed on our house last Friday and we have already gotten to work. We have made plans for what we are wanting to have accomplished before we move in (hoping for the beginning of May) and have started a "to do" list for years to come. This week, Rob and I have been peeling off the nasty wallpaper in the kitchen and we have worked well as team--I have done the bottom of the walls and Rob has done all of the climbing.
Here are some more pictures of the house in progess. I was hoping to get pictures before we did anything to show everyone the crazy stuff we found in the yard, but my pregnant mind can not keep up with my husband's love for throwing away things. :) (I just realized that I forgot to take pictures of the downstairs. ooops! Will post those later!

The kitchen. We are adding cabinets, applicances, tile and have already removed most of the paper. |

Upstairs bathroom. |
Our room. Anyone dying to have the curtains?? |
Kaydence's room. |
Maddox's room and the lady even left a toy for him. haha |
The park is right across the street!!! |
I am really excited about the tulips! |
An out of control yard! |
We have thrown away a lot of stuff and it is already looking better! |
Our view from the deck. There is a compost pile down there somewhere. |
The black berries and gardens. The tower thing will come down and we threw away the iron head and footboard in one of the gardens and the children's shoes that had plants growing in them. Sorry, I didn't get pictures! |
The green thing is another compost thing. Anyone want a compose bucket? |
The tree that is about to fall on the neighbors house. I guess we should do something about that. |
Hopefully, I will be able to post often to keep everyone updated on the house and our growing family!!!!
I looks like you all are making some great progress!
ReplyDeleteWow! I can't wait to see how this turns out after you and Rob have your way with it! That's awesome! My suggestion for the Maddox's window covering--the black-out thermal curtains. They're not pretty, but they work AWESOME! Grayson's naps are even nice, dark and quiet! They also help with the heating bill in the winter.
